what is Quantified Power Outlook?

Quantified Power Outlook, QPO, is our power price forecasting service for the Nordic market, built on cGrid, our in-house power system model. It forecasts prices, volatility, generation, demand and transmission capacity out to 2050, modelled across 33 historical weather years rather than a single average one, with demand built bottom-up to track new load such as electrification and data centres. Clients, from IPPs to heavy industry, receive a new report every quarter with full underlying data, tailored to their own assumptions where needed. The aim throughout is insight, not raw data: showing what drives the numbers.

what is Quantified Power Outlook?

33 years of weather, not one

Forecasts are built across 33 historical weather years, so price volatility and variability show up in the result rather than being averaged away.

Demand modelled bottom-up

Demand assumptions are built load by load, tracking when and where new demand, including electrification and data centres, is likely to come online.

Insight, not just data

Every quarterly report is built to explain what is driving the numbers, alongside the full dataset in Excel or CSV for your own analysis.

Tailored to your assumptions

Forecasts can be run against your own views on commodity prices, demand growth and generation mix, so the analysis reflects your organisation's specific position.
